from 752 reviewsAbsolutely thrilled with the Elmer miter box, saw and template. This is my first build and I was very nervous about cutting the fret slots. The miter box was easy to put together and dial in for beautiful, accurate cuts. As long as you take your time, and pay attention to the little details when adjusting, it works like a dream. I haven’t tried the higher priced model from that other company, and I don’t think I’ll need to. This one works great at a fraction of the price. Thanks, Elmer!
The bender works perfectly. It feels solid other than the threaded bolt that the large adjustable wheel moves up and down on. That bolt could definitely be thicker, but for the price this is a great deal.
The day I received this I went home and continued my fret project. Finished it that night. Seems like a basic review, but that my point. I didn't have to do anything else but put the fret wire in and bend it. Also I really like that the base plate is cut with various radius around the outer edge. And the price was great can't see paying more. I've ordered more fret wire for my next refret job.
Very easy to use and verify neck relief for any guitar, mandolin, ukulele and lute.
It works great and saves a lot of time
At this price I have zero complaints. If it was more expensive I would complain that the grips are upside down. It's slightly awkward to use but not a deal breaker.
I was skeptical at this price, but after using it I found it to work really smoothly. The built in radius gauges are very helpful. When stored it also takes up minimal space. A well thought out design.
Nicely made and great price. I will be getting more tools from Elmer guitars
My only complaint is that the instructions don't specify a thickness for the sled. They shouold note that the screws for the sled will not fit 3/4 in plywood or will have to be heavily countrsunk to reach through. They are a little short.
Received my fret bender this week. Used it immediately and it worked great. Happy customer.
Does a neat job of routing, perfect for the one off builder.
I was very pleased with the quality and construction of the Rosette Circle Jig. It was heavier than I expected (which is good). I have both a Stew Mac Router base and a Veritas Plunge router base and the screw holes of the Soundhole jig lined up perfectly with both bases.
Great gauge at a good price. No issues with shipping. Great seller..
Did the job with zero issues or concerns. Didn't want to risk it by hand or pay the high mark up some of these other places have, and usually other stores only have the jig going into one tuner post holes. This going into both post holes made it even easier to get the job done. Glad I purchased it.
