The Tuner Pin Drill Locator is designed to accurately and quickly locate tuning machine mounting-pin holes on a guitar peghead. It helps guide a hand drill and keeps the drill bit perpendicular to the peghead surface for cleaner and more consistent drilling.
The set includes two drill jigs that can self-center on the tuner holes. When connected with the included flat alignment plate, the two jigs also self-align, allowing you to accurately locate and drill mounting holes for two tuners in a single setup.
The Tuner Pin Drill Locator works with both left- and right-side tuners and is compatible with several common tuner styles, including:
- Fender single-pin tuners
- Fender two-pin locking tuners
- Schaller single-pin tuners
- Schaller two-pin tuners
- Sperzel single-pin tuners
Fits peghead tuner holes with diameters of 3/8" and 10 mm.
