The Neck Relief Gauge is designed to quickly and accurately measure the amount of relief in a guitar or bass neck.
The two wide, flat feet rest securely on the 1st and 12th frets, while the flat indicator tip contacts the 5th or 6th fret. The digital indicator then shows the amount of bow, or relief, in the neck, making it easier to evaluate and fine-tune truss rod adjustments.
Increasing or decreasing truss rod tension changes the amount of neck relief, and this gauge allows you to measure those changes precisely.
Made from machined aluminum with a black anodized finish, the gauge features two wide, flat support feet that provide a stable contact surface on the frets for more consistent and accurate measurements.
